Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I am a Superior Industrial Electronic Technician; I studied at the INACAP Technological Institute, Valparaíso, Chile. My passion for technology, digital and industrial electronics goes back to my early childhood in the 90s. I have experience working at the Maritime Telecommunications Center of Chile. In 1998 I first came into contact with Maritime Radars and GPS systems.
I began working for GroundProbe in Colombia, working on the Hidroituango Project (Ituango Hydroelectric), where I assisted in the commissioning of GML & GMS Lidar units, SSR-XT, SSR-SARx & SSR-FX radars. Years later, I was assigned to GroundProbe’s Peruvian Business Unit to maintain a fleet of radars located at numerous mine sites in various climatic conditions and to build a mutual business relationship with our valuable clients.
+ a little more …
I was born in Valparaiso, Chile, in 1975. Since childhood, I have been interested in various technologies and crafts. Being a conversationalist, I have many friends and a wide business network. I studied my first years in Humanistic Scientific schools, and after High School, I followed a Professional Technical Career. Although I wanted to study Electronics, this was impossible, so I focussed on Industrial Electricity / Electromechanics. My first experience in Industrial Electronics was with the Chilean Navy, in the Maritime Telecommunications Centre, followed by years in logistics and supply chain in Santiago. In 2012 I had the opportunity to work at the Technological and GeoRadars area in Peru, and in 2018 I joined GroundProbe. Since then, I have had the chance to live out my professional and personal dreams of continuing to grow and expand my experiences, always striving to do my best.
Anything else you would like to add?
Lover of photography.
Incredibly happy in this life that was given.
Ready for any challenge that life throws at me.
– Marcelo
