David Noon

David began his journey at GroundProbe as Chief Technology Officer, progressing through various senior roles in technology and operations, including serving as CEO. He now holds the position of Vice President – Geosolutions for Orica Digital Solutions. In this role, David oversees the integration of six leading brands—GroundProbe, RST Instruments, Measurand, 3vGeomatics, Syscom, and NavStar—within the Orica Group, delivering world-class, end-to-end solutions for geotechnical and structural monitoring in the mining and civil infrastructure industries.

David earned a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the University of Queensland. He has also completed the Entrepreneurial Development Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Executive Program for Growing Companies at Stanford University.

He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE), recognising his significant contributions to the field.
