Today, we’re introducing Dante Vablos, our MonitorIQ Lead Engineer and Safety Champion for Perú & Colombia, based in Lima.

With a solid background in telecommunications and technology, Dante wears many hats—safety supervisor, compliance tracker, cybersecurity watchdog—you name it! But what truly sets him apart is his unwavering passion for ensuring safety and security across all aspects of his work.

What do you do as a Safety Champion?

My role involves supervising safety procedures and ensuring compliance within GroundProbe in Peru. I oversee compliance tracking through the Enablon application and support my business unit colleagues. As a Technology Engineer, I also verify that our procedures and standards align with security and cybersecurity requirements.

What does safety mean to you?

To me, safety is about respecting and following established procedures and standards. It’s not just about compliance—it’s about protecting lives. Our customers prioritise safety, ensuring the well-being of their people above all else, and at GroundProbe, we take this responsibility very seriously.
